The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is scheduled to be launched in India on April 3, 2024. While the company has yet to announce the price of the Edge 50 Pro, a tipster, named Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), has divulged the pricing details of the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Pro. According to the screenshot of the listing put up on X (formerly Twitter), the smartphone with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage will be priced at € 865 (roughly Rs. 77,370). That's for the global market, whereas the India-spec Motorola Edge 50 Pro with the same RAM and storage will ask for Rs 44,999. With offers, the price could come down to Rs 39,999 in the country.
The tipster further claimed that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will come in three colour options – Lavender Purple, Pearl White, and Black Eclipse. In the international market, meanwhile, the marketing colour for the Black variant will be called Black Beauty. Upon launch in India, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will likely rival the OnePlus 12R and IQOO Neo 9 Pro in the mid-range phone segment.

Motorola and Flipkart have already teased a few key specifications of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Going by the teasers, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and will feature a 6.7-inch, 144Hz, 1.5k curved pOLED display with 2,000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and SGS-certified blue light protection. The display will have a centrally positioned punch-hole slot at the top for the selfie camera.
The AI-backed triple rear camera setup will consist of a 50-megapixel 2μm AI-powered primary camera, an ultra-wide camera with 50x hybrid zoom, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. It will be accompanied by an LED flash unit. Other confirmed bits are an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and 125W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Motorola has also confirmed three years of OS updates for the new Motorola Edge 50 Pro. The upcoming phone, which will run on Hello UI based on Android 14, will go on sale through an e-commerce website called Flipkart.
