The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is set to arrive in India on June 18. The brand-new model will be available for purchase via Flipkart, the brand's official website, and other outlets. Although its price in India has not yet been disclosed, we already know various details regarding the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's design, features, and specifications, thanks to its recent worldwide release. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra: Design

Motorola has hinted at three variants of the Edge 50 Ultra. One of these models will have a real wooden back panel, offering it a distinctive and upscale appearance. The wooden variant will have an off-white colour and a unique wooden texture on the back. The side frames will have a golden finish, adding an air of elegance. The brand's logo will be prominently visible on the back panel. The triple camera setup of the Edge 50 Ultra will be contained in a slightly protruding module. The phone is likely to be strong and durable. More details on it will be available once the model is officially launched in India.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features excellent hardware. It has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz, resulting in smooth and colourful images. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU, which promises exceptional performance for all kinds of tasks. It also has an IP68 rating, making it water-resistant and dustproof.

One of the most notable aspects of the phone will be its charging capability. The Edge 50 Ultra offers both 50W wireless charging and an impressive 125W cable charging, allowing the phone to be recharged quickly. The Edge 50 Ultra has a 4,500mAh battery, which provides enough power for a full day of use. 

The Edge 50 Ultra will come with a versatile camera configuration, with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) integrated into the 50-megapixel primary camera to ensure stable and sharp images. This will be further enhanced by a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, which could be used as a macro lens for finely detailed close-ups, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS. Running the most recent version of Android 14, the device has a massive 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, providing plenty of space for photos, apps, and videos.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra: Price

In India, Motorola has already released the Edge 50 Pro, which costs Rs 31,999. The Ultra variant is anticipated to be substantially more expensive because of its better specifications. It will likely carry a price tag ranging between Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000. The model costs EUR 999 in Europe, which is approximately equivalent to Rs 88,870. With this pricing strategy, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra would compete with the other flagship Android smartphones available in the market.
