Within a month of unveiling its first flagship smartphone in years in the international market, Motorola today launched the Edge+ in the Indian market. Suffice to say, the Motorola flagship offers the top-of-the-line hardware along with a premium design, all at a relatively affordable price tag. It is priced at ₹74,999 for the sole 12GB + 256GB configuration and is up for pre-order on Flipkart starting today, with deliveries set to begin on May 26. You can grab it in two shades - Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey.
The Motorola Edge+ comes with a curved 6.7” FHD+ HDR10+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate that wraps at almost 90° around both sides of the phone. It is powered by the flagship-grade Snapdragon 865 coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device also features 5G connectivity thanks to the Snapdragon X55 modem onboard.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the triple camera setup at the back consists of a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens. As for the selfie shooter, there's a 25-megapixel lens that sits in a hole punch along with an in-display fingerprint reader on the bottom half of the device.
The Edge+ comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery along with 18W wired (via USB-C) and 15W wireless charging support. You can also wirelessly charge other devices via reverse wireless charging. Above all, the Edge+ also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual stereo speakers.
