New renders of the upcoming OnePlus 8 have been leaked, revealing the colours in which these smartphones are expected to be launched. Posted by a Twitter user, the images show a smartphone with a multi-coloured finish on the back called ‘Interstellar Glow’. The other two images show a glacial green and onyx black colours. It is not clear whether the same colours will be available in the OnePlus 8 Pro model.
It’s been long since smartphone-makers have been offering their devices with unconventional colours on their back panels. An interstellar glow-like colour called aura glow has already been seen on Samsung Galaxy Note10 devices. Apple launched the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max in green colour, and Google Pixel 4 debuted in Orange colour. OEMs are also offering phones with a special coating on back-panels to give them a matte finish.

While it is not known whether these colours will be offered in the costlier variant or not, new information regarding specs of the OnePlus 8 Pro is making rounds on the internet. According to the rumour mill, the OnePlus 8 Pro may sport a 6.78-inch QHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with an LPDDR5 RAM. OnePlus may also get the IP68 water and dust resistance rating for the phone.

On the back, the phone is reported to feature a quadruple-camera setup with two 48MP camera sensors by Sony. According to the same Twitter user we mentioned above, the OnePlus 8 Pro will feature a 48MP IMX689 primary sensor with f/1.78 lens, a 48MP IMX586 sensor with an ultra-wide f/2.2 lens (120-degree Field of View), an 8MP sensor with f/2.44 telephoto lens with 3X optical and 30X digital zoom and a 5MP colour filter. It is expected to have a 4,510mAh battery with 30W wireless charging and 3W reverse wireless charging.
