OnePlus has announced that it will unveil its next line-up of flagship products, the OnePlus 8 series of smartphones, in an online event on April 14, globally. The launch event will start at 8:30 pm IST, and those interested can view the live stream on the OnePlus official website and YouTube. All the devices, which are likely to be the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro, in the series will have 120Hz display and 5G support.

The China-based company said that the devices will have a newly-engineered display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which will ‘deliver an even more fluid and immersive viewing experience.’ OnePlus also said that the products will also have ‘a handful of other new and exciting technologies that will elevate the OnePlus flagship experience to a new level’.
Last year, OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 7 Pro, the OnePlus 7T, and the OnePlus 7T Pro with Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. Its signature slogan was ‘fast and smooth’, and with the upcoming flagship products, the company aims to take the ‘experience to the next level’ with clearer displays and faster performance. The company is using the ‘Lead with Speed’ slogan this year.
