Cyberpunk 2077 is, by far, the most anticipated video game of 2020. While the official game has been pushed back a few weeks, OnePlus has debuted its limited-edition smartphone based on the video game, dubbing it as the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition.
As is the norm with OnePlus' limited run smartphones, the 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition gets a major cosmetic upgrade, which gives the smartphone a very distinctive and futuristic look. The camera module at the back has been enlarged, spreading to the entire width of the smartphone. It's left section houses the camera sensors and the right includes the 2077 logo and a QR + barcode hybrid to represent the game.
The middle section of the back features a frosted AG glass, with a snowflake design followed by a carbon texture with Cyberpunk 2077 branding at the bottom. It also has a yellow hue across the edges, which is similar to the last year's OnePlus 7T McLaren Edition's orange hue.
Apart from that, the limited-edition OnePlus 8T also comes with a few modifications on the software end, including new neon-style icons, always-on display, and charging animation. The retail box contains OnePlus' 65W charging brick, which now features Cyberpunk 2077 branding. There's a protective case in the box as well.
The specifications of the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition remains more or less identical to the standard OnePlus 8T. It now gets more RAM and storage – 12GB RAM and 256GB, respectively – in comparison to the standard smartphone. It is priced at 3,999 yuan (around ₹44,449) and is now up for pre-orders in China, with sales starting from November 11.
