‘The F series has offered a bouquet of exciting features that consumers most desire. Our latest edition to the F series, Oppo F15 will introduce not only a new level of fun, creativity, speed but also an unparalleled stylish design. We believe it will appeal to the young consumers who want the most out of their smartphone and love to flaunt its capabilities,’ Sumit Walia, Vice President – Product & Marketing, Oppo India, said in a statement.
The Oppo F15 sports 6.2-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that offers 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and 90.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the phone has MediaTek P70 processor, along with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. It comes equipped with 4000 mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 support. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor which is claimed to be 20 per cent faster than previous generation smartphones and unlocks the device in 0.32s. Oppo says that this generation of in-display fingerprint unlock incorporates improvements both at the hardware (anti-forging technology) and software levels.
It also has Frame Boost and Touch Boost technology, for a smooth gaming experience. While Frame Boost monitors the phone's operations in real-time to predict and compensate for game lag, Touch Boost gives users a higher level of control while gaming, improving the gaming touch response. There is a Gaming Voice Changer that changes users’ voices into the opposite gender. The In-Game Noise Cancelling Effects are installed to reduce noise in gaming sounds.
When it comes to optics, the Oppo F15 comes with a quad-camera setup. Called 48MP Ultra Wide-Angle Macro Quadcam, the setup has a 48MP main sensor, 8MP sensor with a wide-angle lens, 2MP portrait lens and 2MP macro lens. On the front is a 16MP snapper. Oppo says that Wide Angle mode, users can directly autofocus using Macro as close as 3cm. The camera is equipped with Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) and Anti-Shake Video tech. The Oppo F15 has a Night Portrait Mode which can shoot images on the basis of lighting conditions like dark streets, dimly lit restaurants, and parks.
