According to the rumours on the internet, Oppo is working on a new smartphone 'K3' that will come with a pop-up camera design. K3 will be successor to Oppo K1, which was launched in October last year....

What started with a notch in Apple iPhone X quickly began a trend in 2018, but 2019 looks like a year to notch-less design smartphones thanks to the addition of pop-up cameras. Vivo first brought the motorised camera in its Nex smartphone, other phone manufacturers including Oppo, Xiaomi are all in line to bring the new devices with pop-up camera.

According to the media reports, Oppo K3 will be the second smartphone from the Chinese tech giant that will come with pop-camera giving way for a notch-less design. Successor to Oppo K1, the Oppo K3 is expected to come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution. According to a post from Chinese social media platform, the K3 will have a shark fin-style pop-up selfie camera and will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by the 710 SoC clubbed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The company could also launch other RAM variants also.

The Oppo K3 will have a dual camera setup -- 16MP + 2MP at the rear and a 16MP motorised camera at the front. The smartphone will be powered by a 3,680mAh with 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.

Further, the Oppo K3 will run on Android 9 Pie OS. The pricing and official launch date will be announced later.

Oppo K1 sports a 6.41-inch AMOLED, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is 25MP front camera.
