Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched Reno 2 smartphone that stands out for its quad-camera setup that includes 20x digital zoom (5x hybrid zoom), ultra-dark mode for clear nights shots even under zero light condition and an ultra-steady video for super-stable videos on the go.
Priced at Rs 36,990, the Oppo Reno 2 is available in a single storage variant of 8GB+256GB and will come in two exciting colours -- ocean blue and luminous black.
The Reno 2 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor and supports VOOC 3.0 flash charge and is backed by a massive 4,000mAh battery. With a 48MP primary lens equipped with optical image stabilisation, f/1.7 aperture, and a 1/2-inch sensor, Reno 2 ensure great photos in low-light. The Reno 2 sports a 6.55-inch dynamic AMOLED screen, 2400x1080 resolution, and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.1 per cent. The smartphone’s screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
At the front, there is an 16MP shark fin rising camera, which supports an ultra-clear backlit shots and all-new AI beauty mode. The Reno 2 series feature seamless, one-piece curved bodies, and with the use of three-layer stripping technology, Oppo has achieved a glossier, multi-toned look that shows off different color shades from different angles.
The Reno 2 smartphone runs on the ColorOS 6.1 on top of Android Pie 9.0. The Reno 2 has features such as Touch Boost 2.0, Frame Boost 2.0 and Game Space for an enhanced gaming experience.The Oppo Reno 2 series features fast and safe VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology which uses a new VFC algorithm, significantly shortening the final 10 per cent of charging time by doubling the trickle charging speed.
