Optiemus launches BlackBerry KEY2 LE in India for Rs 29,990

Homebred Optiemus Infracom that manufactures and distributes BlackBerry-branded devices today launched BlackBerry KEY2 LE in India at a price of Rs 29,990, which will be Amazon exclusive.

Consumers can opt for the "notify me" option on Amazon.in starting tomorrow, and sale will start from October 12.  The BlackBerry KEY2 LE comes with a physical keyboard, a 4.5-inch full-HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and comes paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The BlackBerry KEY2 LE is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery that the company claims can offer over 22 hours of mixed usage.

For photography, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE sports a dual camera system comprising of 13MP main camera and 5MP secondary camera. Further there is 8MP front camera along with panoramic selfie mode, selfie enhancements, Google Lens support and Bokeh mode.

The BlackBerry KEY2 LE comes with dual account management feature that allows cloning of applications such as Facebook Messenger and Instagram by a simple drag and drop process. It also allows an easy switch between personal and professional accounts and supports dual SIM functionality, the company claims.
