In line with the aim of producing 3-3.5 million smartphones, Panasonic India today launched another affordable smartphone “P55 Max” featuring a massive 5000mAh battery.

Priced at Rs 8499, P55 Max will be available exclusively on Flipkart. The smartphone features metal design and weighs 180 grams.

The device sports a 5.5 Inch HD IPS display, 1.25 GHz quad-core processor with 3GB RAM plus 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via micro-SD card and also supports OTG\to further increase your storage options.

The smartphone comes with 13MP camera on the rear with quad LED flash and a 5MP front camera. For connectivity, the device has a dual SIM - 3G/4G LTE configuration, direct Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

Moreover, it comes with ZigPlay, a cool feature that keeps all your priorities at your fingertips with simple to use profiles and keeps you connected on the go at home, in the car, at work and anywhere you go. (To be received Over-the-air).

Panasonic recently launched two new smartphones that are equipped with "Arbo" -- an in-house artificial intelligence (AI)-based virtual assistant. While Eluga Ray Max is priced at Rs 11,499 for the 32GB variant and Rs 12,499 for the 64GB variant, Eluga Ray X is available for Rs 8,999.

The company is doing good business in the northern region of India and aims to further increases its penetration in the southern and eastern parts of the country.

Before the festive season, Panasonic will launch 10 new smartphones for its offline channel and five new smartphones for the online channel, in the price band of Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000.
