Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro with 90Hz displays launched, Realme Band debuts at Rs 1,499

Realme has launched the Realme 6 with MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and Realme 6 Pro with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset. Both the phones have 90Hz display, 64MP AI quad camera setup and 30W Flash Charge ....

Realme has launched the Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro smartphones in India. Both the handsets feature a 90Hz ‘Ultra Smooth’ display, 64MP AI quad-camera, 30W Flash Charge technology, and Android 10-based Realme UI. The variants of the devices are systematically priced to cover the Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 smartphone segment. The Chinese tech giant has also launched its first fitness band that comes with a 0.96-inch colour display and a heart rate monitor.

The Realme 6 will be available in comet white and comet blue colours in three variants: a 4GB+64GB variant, which is priced at Rs 12,999, a 6GB+128GB version that can be purchased for Rs 14,999, and an 8GB+128GB variant, which comes with a price tag of Rs 15,999. The smartphones will go on sale from March 13 on Flipkart.

The Realme 6 Pro also has three variants: a 6GB+64GB version, which is priced at Rs 16,999, a 6GB+128GB variant, which is priced at Rs 17,999, and an 8GB+128GB version, which will cost Rs 18,999. The phone will be available in lightning blue and lightning orange colours. The smartphones will go on sale from March 11. It will be available on Flipkart with flat Rs 1,000 instant discount on Axis Bank Credit Cards, Debit Cards, & EMI transactions.

The Realme Band is priced at Rs 1,499 and is now available on Flipkart in three colour strap options: black, yellow, and green.

He added that the Realme Band ‘will be one of the most complete and functional smart bands at its price’.

Realme 6 sports a 6.5-inch Ultra Smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz sampling rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a punch-hole on the top left corner. The edge of the punch hole lights up while using facial unlock or front camera. The company claims that the display has OSIE, which improves video clarity and colour intensity. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T and comes with 30W Flash Charge tech, which is claimed to fully charge the 4,300mAh battery in 60 minutes.

The Realme 6 has quad-camera set-up with 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with 119-degree field of view, a macro lens, and a black & white portrait camera. On the front is a 16MP camera with smart beauty mode, Bokeh Effect, etc. As mentioned, the Realme 6 comes with the Realme UI based that has features like DocVault, a feature for Indian users to manage personal information and government documents, and Soloop, a smart tool for editing short videos.

The Realme 6 Pro sports a 6.6-inch Ultra Smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz sampling rate. The display gets a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and features a pill-shaped punch hole with light effect, eye protection, and OSIE. The Realme 6 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to be launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. When it comes to the battery, the phone houses the same 4,300mAh battery with 30W Flash Charge tech support.

The Realme 6 Pro a quad-camera set-up with 64MP main camera, a 12MP 20x hybrid zoom telephoto camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 119-degree field of view, and a macro lens. There is Nightscape 3.0, which has an improved tripod mode, and an Ultra Nightscape Mode for extremely dark conditions. 

On the front is a dual-camera setup with a 16MP wide-angle camera and an 8MP super wide-angle camera with 105-degree field of view. The front snapper has an Edge Deformity Correction, which recognises faces and optimises the face contours. Realme 6 Pro is also the second phone after Realme X50 Pro 5G to support NavIC.

The Realme Band comes with a 2.4cm (0.96-inch) colour display, a touch-button, and 5-level brightness adjustment support via Realme link. There are five dial faces that can be changed via the Realme Link app. The band has a PPG optical heart rate sensor and an algorithm that analyses sleep quality. The Realme Band supports nine sport modes, such as walking, running, and yoga, and features a dedicated Cricket Mode.
