Last week, Realme launched their first phone with a 64MP quad rear camera setup in India. The device will be up for grabs starting at 12p.m. today on Flipkart and realme.com. The device sports an AMOLED display and will be available in Pearl White and Pearl Blue colours. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 mobile platform. At the launch event, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth announced that the company is alo working on another variant which come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. This model may launch in December this year.
The Realme XT will be available at a starting price of Rs 15,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model will cost Rs 16,999, and the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant can be purchased for Rs 18,999. At the launch event, Sheth announced that if you purchase the phone via Paytm UPI, you can get up to Rs 2,000 cashback. The first 64,000 buyers will get a 6-month free screen replacement warranty. Users can purchase the phone at ‘No cost EMI’ starting at Rs 1,417 per month. Axis Bank Credit Card, and HDFC Bank Debit Cards users can get 5 per cent cashback on Flipkart.
The Realme XT features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display (1080 x 2340 pixels) with a waterdrop notch. The phone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and the display has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the handset has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset, which is coupled with the up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The phone runs ColorOS 6.0 baked atop Android 9 Pie. The Realme XT ships with a 4,000mAh battery with 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
When it comes to the camera, the smartphone features a quad rear camera module and a single sensor on the front. The rear setup consists of a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens. The 64MP sensor is paired with an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The 16MP front camera is situated in the waterdrop notch. It is a Sony IMX471 sensor with the AI Face Beauty mode.
