The Realme XT features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. The phone is wrapped in Gorilla Glass 5, and it sports an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the phone will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 mobile platform. The SoC will be offered in three RAM and storage options: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage. The phone draws power from a 4,000mAh battery that has support for 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The Realme XT runs on Android 9 Pie, with ColorOS 6 on top.
As mentioned, this will be Realme’s first handset with 64MP camera sensor. It was developed by Samsung Semi Conductors and was launched in May. Called Bright GW1, the sensor has a resolution of 64 megapixels and uses Samsung’s ISOCELL and tetracell technology which basically uses a method of combining four pixels into one to yield 16MP binned images. The 1/2-inch sensor features the highest resolution in Samsung’s 0.8μm-pixel image sensor lineup. The other camera in the quad-camera setup module are an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is a 16MP camera housed in the waterdrop notch.
