Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G World Champions Edition in India. The smartphone company developed this special edition Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G in partnership with the Argentina Football Association (AFA). The back panel is dual-tone, with blue and white stripes. Furthermore, the model comes with a special package and AFA-branded accessories. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC and has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities. For the uninitiated, The World Champions Edition was first hinted at during the Redmi Note 13 series India debut in January and is being launched to commemorate Xiaomi's tenth anniversary in our country. For Rs 34,999, you can get the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage edition of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G World Champions Edition. The phone's actual cost stands at Rs 37,999. however, the former is a special launch pricing that includes an instant savings of Rs 3,000 on ICICI bank card payments. Additionally, Xiaomi is offering an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000. Starting on May 15, the new edition will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Amazon, Xiaomi retail locations, and Mi.com. Meanwhile, the standard Redmi Note 13 Pro+ costs Rs 35,999 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage option. The available colour options include Fusion Black, Fusion Purple, and Fusion White.
Based on the AFA jersey, Xiaomi claims in a press release that the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G World Champions Edition has the famous three shining stars that stand for their wins, as well as their blue and white stripes and the significant number 10. The phone's user interface (UI) allows the owner personalise the wallpaper, lock screen, and icons.
With a fully customised AFA edition 120W HyperCharger, a colour-coordinated USB Type-C cable, and a sim ejector pin inspired by football, the smartphone comes inside a collectible gift box that embodies the spirit of AFA. The buyer will also receive a card that pays tribute to “the esteemed players who have achieved victory on the global stage during the 2022 World Cup.”

The World Champions Edition comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging, a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,800 nits. It also runs MediaTek's Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor. The phone has an IP68 rating for its chassis. Moreover, the phone's rear panel houses three sensors, the primary 200-megapixel (HP3) sensor being located behind an optically stabilised lens.
