Redmi has announced that it will launch the Note 9 Series of smartphones at an event on March 12. It is likely that the company will launch two new phones, the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro. The company has also started teasing the smartphones on its official website mi.com, and Amazon.in. In his first tweet, Manu Kumar Jain can be seen using a phone. This particular phone has a Type-C port, a headphone jack and a speaker grille. Jain also retweeted Redmi India’s tweet which has a short video by Ranveer Singh. The CEO has also asked the Xiaomi ‘fans’ what they want to have in the Redmi Note 9 smartphones. The phone is likely to launch below the Rs 20,000 mark.
While little is known about the specs of the smartphones, it is confirmed that the phone will have a quad-camera setup on the back. The listing suggests that the phone will be able to handle heavy-duty gaming and will have a fast charging technology. The phone may also have a display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset is likely to have 5,000mAh battery and up to 6GB of RAM and 12GB of storage.
