Aiming to meet the rising demands of mobile and dynamic business environments, Sony India has introduced a new ultra-portable MP-CD1 mobile projector. The MP-CD1 fits in the palm of your hand, and is capable to project content up to 304.8 cm in size from a short distance of 350 cm.

This pocket-sized projector, weighs only 280.6 grams and can instantly transforms any surface into a wide screen. The MP-CD1 is equipped with Texas Instruments’ DLP IntelliBright technology that intelligently manages brightness and power consumption and has a rating of 105 ANSI lumens.

The MP-CD1 has a sleek form factor which allows it to minimise heat while still maintaining high brightness in a pocket-sized form factor. It features a sleek aluminium body allowing you to simply slip it into your briefcase or backpack and be prepared for any outdoor event, business pitch or a weekend party.

The ultra-mobile projector has a 5,000mAh built-in battery which the company claims delivers up to two hours of projection time.

The mobile projector also features an automatic keystone correction technology that gives you great viewing experience even when the content is projected from an angle or onto an uneven surface. The MP-CD1 also comes with a standard tripod socket, located on the underside of the device to facilitate projection at any angle, such as ceilings.

The HDMI and USB ports on the MP-CD1 accept a variety of media-streaming devices, smartphones, laptops and gaming consoles. The device also sports an optional HDMI dongle that enables wireless connectivity with a variety of devices or for watching streaming content from a wide range of video sources. The HDMI dongle also supports simultaneous powering from a USB port even during projection.

Priced at Rs 29,990, the MP-CD1 will be available across all Sony Centres, Sony authorised dealers and major electronic stores across India starting August 3.
