Just a week after CD Projekt Red launched the most hyped game of 2020, Cyberpunk 2077, Sony has decided to remove the game from its online Playstation store until any further notice. This is due to the backlash from some PS4 owners complaining about excessive issues with the game.

The company is also offering full refunds to consumers who have already purchased the game. However, if you're happy with the game, you can continue playing as Sony has said in its statement, “All copies of the game previously purchased digitally on PlayStation Store remain available for use by their respective buyers. Gamers can still buy physical versions of the game in retail and mail-order stores. All copies, whether digital or physical, will continue to receive support and updates from the Company.”

The company has set up a website where users can request a refund by signing up. Once it is confirmed that the game was purchased from the Playstation store, Sony should give the users a refund. CD Projekt Red launched the game on 10 December on Windows, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia. The game was initially set to launch on 16 April 2020, which was eventually delayed till December.
