Last night, Ubisoft held its annual Ubisoft Forward event wherein it announced multiple games: Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and a few more. Apart from launching these games, the company also announced that it will host the second part of the Ubisoft event later this year.
Here are the major announcements made by Ubisoft:
Watch Dogs Legion will be available from October 29, 2020, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One X, and PC. Also, it will be made available for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X soon. The gameplay takes place in London post-Brexit, with everyone under heavy surveillance. A few new things have also been added to the game like one can play as NPCs (non-playable characters) in the game. It looks pretty good from the little we could gather from the trailer.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be launched on November 17, 2002. It will take place in the times of Vikings and will follow the Norse mythology. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. However, there is no information regarding when it will be available for next-gen consoles.
The game seems to be pretty good and has amazing graphics. It might be quite similar to Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
The sixth major instalment in the Far Cry series, Far Cry 6, has finally been announced. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, and Google’s Stadia from February 18, 2021. As said earlier, this is the sixth instalment of the extremely popular Far Cry series. The main giveaway during the event was that Giancarlo Esposito, the villain in the game, will be played by Gus Fring, a very popular character from the series Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad.
Hyper Scape is the forthcoming battle royale first-person shooter game. The game is entering its open beta phase starting today and can be downloaded using the UPlay service. Hyper Scape has been in the headlines ever since it was launched in closed beta. Some of the major streamers like Dr Lupo have been playing Hyper Scape.
A couple of other titles were also exhibited at the event. Viewers also witnessed Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad, which is an all-new mobile game that gets all the heroes from Tom Clancy games together and puts them in a 5v5 battle. To all the Ghost Recon and Rainbox Six fans, this is something to look forward to.
However, one needs to pre-register for it on Android right now as the game is not available as yet. Brawlhalla, an exciting and fun game, has been introduced for smartphones. To conclude, the company has also launched Magic and Might: Era of Chaos, both on Android and iOS for free.
