Ubisoft has the announced the “Update 1.7” for Tom Clancy’s The Division which is free for all players and has been released simultaneously on consoles and Windows PC.  Grudge & Glory brings the largest update to For Honor and includes includes two additional heroes, and much more.

The Update 1.7 has introduced a new event system that will challenge players to find new ways to play through time-limited activities featuring new gameplay modifiers. New Events will be available regularly and grant exclusive rewards upon completion. Players will also be able to activate additional modifiers for some missions and incursions, adding an extra layer of challenge that gives them a chance to yield more rewards.

Previously called Feats, Commendations are a new built-in achievement system that will provide players with a series of tasks and subsequent rewards.

The company has also included encrypted caches -- loot boxes with random customisation items and emotes inside.

The Update 1.7 is the first of two main free updates planned for year 2 of Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Ubisoft also announced that the first Global Event, Outbreak, has already been started from August and will end on August 22.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is now available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. For more information, please visit http://www.thedivisiongame.com.

Ubisoft also announced that Honor Season Three and Grudge & Glory are available on all platforms. Grudge & Glory brings the largest update to For Honor to date and includes two additional heroes, two extra maps, ranked play, new customisation items for all heroes and gameplay updates. Maps and ranked play will be free for all players at the start of Season Three.

Available tomorrow for season pass holders, the new heroes, the proud Highlander and the deadly Gladiator, will be available for all players on August 22 for 15,000 Steel each.

Season Three’s offerings include Highlander (Viking Hybrid), Gladiator (Knight Assassin) and new maps.

Highlander (Viking Hybrid) are patient heroes capable of switching between two different fighting forms. Wielding the heaviest and longest sword in the game, the Highlander’s massive claymore gives them a deadly combination of strength and range, Ubisoft claims.

Their defensive form allows for counter-attacking and trading blows, while their offensive form empowers them to unleash their deadliest attacks at the expense of being able to block.

Gladiator (Knight Assassin) are equipped with little armour and can punch their opponents to create separation to set up attacks and stuns.

Sentinel and Viking Village will join the selection of multiplayer maps. The company says each map holds unique and deadly hazards never before seen in For Honor adding a new dynamic to multiplayer matches.

Viking Village’s massive rolling barrel is a dynamic hazard able to squash heroes, while a ballista gives players the opportunity to take down even the mightiest heroes from above on Sentinel.

There is also a duel tournament feature which will bring competitive ranked play to For Honor for all platforms. As players compete in tournaments, they will rise up the league rankings based on their performance and will receive in-game rewards.

A new level of gear rarity and legendary gear has been developed that will increase the maximum gear score from 144 to 180. Additionally, the max reputation for all heroes will increase from 30 to 40. New gear will be added for all heroes, giving players more customisation options.

Additional updates include a season launching in November to introduce new features, game modes and updates as well as plans to implement dedicated servers to the game further down the road.
