Expanding its Air Purifier portfolio in India, Xiaomi India has launched the Mi Air Purifier 3 in the country. It is the successor to the Mi Air Purifier 2S that was launched last year. Priced at Rs 9,999, the Mi Air Purifier 3 is available on Mi.com, and its filter is can be purchased for Rs 2,199 from the company’s online retail shop. Mi Air Purifier 3 will be available on Amazon and Flipkart starting November 7.
The latest air purifier is equipped with triple layer filtration system, which includes a primary filter, a true HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter. The company says that the primary filter captures large particles (PM10 and above), the true HEPA filter is said to be capable of eliminating 99.97 per cent of small pollutants (PM2.5), while the activated carbon filter is touted to remove formaldehyde, toxic substances and bad odour from the air. The 360-degree cylindrical filter design allows suction of air from all directions.
‘Mi Air Purifier 3 has a CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 380 metre-cube per hour that makes it capable of delivering 6,333 litres of purified air every minute with a coverage area of upto 484ft square. Mi Air Purifier 3 features a touch-enabled OLED display which shows the AQI (Air Quality Index) in real-time. Mi Air Purifier 3 can be connected to the Mi Home app allowing real-time AQI monitoring over the air,’ the company said in a press note.
Recently, Xiaomi India launched its first Mi Organic Solid T-shirt in India. These T-shirts are said to be made of 100 per cent organic cotton certified by the Global Organic Textile Standards. The tags on all the T-shirts are embedded with holy basil seeds which can be sown directly in the soil. These T-shirts will be packaged in Cora Cotton bags which are made of 100 per cent cotton. Mi Organic Solid T-Shirt are available in black and white colours for Rs 499 on Mi.com.
