While the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is yet to confirm the details for its next Mi A3 and M A3 Lite mid-range smartphones, but it could launch the phones in the coming months in India.

Successor to hugely popular Xiaomi Mi A2, the Mi A3 will be soon launched in India. The company has started testing hardware for these two devices and are likely to be Android One smartphones.

The smartphones are expected to come with 32MP front-facing cameras that will use 4-in-1 pixel binning technology to improve low-light photography. Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 675 or Snapdragon 710 chipset. Both of these chipsets are slightly faster than the Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 625, respectively, that powered Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite.

And as Android One devices from Xiaomi majorly fall into the mid-range segment, this it is possible that the new smartphone could bring in-display fingerprint sensor technology.

The company recently launched Redmi Go, its most affordable smartphone in India. The Redmi Go sports a HD display, unlimited Google Photos storage, 3,000mAh battery and a dedicated micro-SD card slot.

The smartphone costs 4,499 for the 1GB RAM/8GB variant and is available in black and blue colours. The smartphone will go on sale on Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores, starting March 22, 12 p.m. onwards.

The company also announced launch offers including Rs 2,200 Jio cashback and up to 100GB free data. The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Go runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) and packs a 5-inch screen. The device is powered by the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC along with Adreno 308 GPU.
