OnePlus has announced plans to launch a limited-edition colour variant of its flagship smartphone soon in India. Named the OnePlus 12 Glacial White, the new variant goes on sale on June 6 through Amazon, the official website, OnePlus Experience stores, and the official partner stores across the country. Upon arrival, it will join the other two colour options – Flowy Emerald and Silky Black – in the lineup. The company says the OnePlus 12 Glacial White is a 'design masterpiece, an all-encompassing flagship smartphone crafted to balance the chaos of modern life'. Speaking of the design, the smartphone has a sleek, contemporary appearance inspired by the 'stunning beauty and resilience of glaciers'.
Although OnePlus has yet to confirm, the Glacial White will likely offer the same specifications and features as the other two colourways. Therefore, one can expect a 6.82-inch quad-HD+ (1,440 x 3,168 pixels) LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout, up to 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 Glacial White will most likely carry the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. A large 5,400 mAh battery with SuperVOOC charging could be packed in.
For optics, expect the OnePlus 12 Glacial White to house a Hasselblad-powered triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the front, users can expect a 32-megapixel camera for video chats and selfies. The device should run on Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 out-of-the-box, delivering a customisable user experience.
As for connectivity options, the phone should get 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Expected onboard sensors are a gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer and proximity sensor. Other bits could be a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, not to mention an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.

In terms of pricing, the OnePlus 12 currently starts at Rs 64,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage and goes up to Rs 69,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB Storage.
