According to a tweet made by Max J., OnePlus might be working on truly wireless earbuds, which, he states, are expected to be unveiled by the company in July. Here's everything we know so far.

A consequence of the omission of the 3.5mm headphone jack from smartphones, almost every mainstream smartphone manufacturer now sells truly wireless earbuds in 2020. So much so, only this week, Huawei and Oppo launched its truly wireless earbuds in the Indian market. As per a new source, OnePlus, too, is all set to introduce its first-set of truly wireless earbuds, after sticking to neckband-style earbuds for the last couple of years.

According to tech journalist and serial tipster, Max J, OnePlus is reportedly working on truly wireless earbuds, which are expected to be unveiled alongside the company's mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Z in July. As you can see below, the design of the earbuds depicted below looks quite similar to the Apple AirPods, which are currently the most popular truly wireless earbuds globally.

It's very important, however, to take this information with a grain of salt, as Max himself says in a follow-up tweet that the information comes from a newer source that, while seeming reliable, doesn’t yet have the same track record as his other sources for OnePlus information. Moreover, there's no word on the specifications of these earbuds yet, but these might carry the same hardware as the Oppo Enco W31's launched earlier this week.
