Oppo has launched the Reno4 Pro, the successor to the Reno3 Pro, in the Indian market. The device was first launched in China, earlier this year. The smartphone launched in India is similar in design to the Chinese variant, however, there are some major changes in terms of camera and internals.
Oppo Reno4 Pro is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) 3D Borderless Sense Super AMOLED display, with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device has up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, and it runs on Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2 on top.
As far as the specs are concerned, the smartphone features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. To dissipate heat better, the Reno4 Pro comes with a multi-cooling system, which uses a combination of graphite sheet, graphite tube, and copper foil.
In terms of camera, the Oppo Reno4 Pro has a quad rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, a 2MP mono shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, the Reno4 has a 32 MP camera with an f/2.4 lens at the front. The camera features include Night Flare Portrait, AI Colour Portrait, and an Ultra Dark Mode for an improved camera experience. The device also has an Ultra Night Selfie Mode for selfie lovers.
Further, it has 128GB of onboard storage, which is expandable through a microSD card. The connectivity options of the device include Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 6, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. It's equipped with a 4,000mAh battery pack, with super-fast 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging support. Oppo claims that the Reno4 Pro can be charged from 0 to 100% of its battery's capacity in just 36 minutes.
The Oppo Reno4 Pro is priced at ₹34,990 in India for the sole 8GB+128GB storage variant. It's available in two colours – starry night and silky white. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart, from 5 August.
