Vivo has unveiled the Vivo TWS Neo true wireless earphones in China. The earphones measure 3.95x18.6x16.5mm and weigh 4.7 grams. The earbuds feature a design similar to that of Apple AirPods. Nevertheless, the true wireless buds have some features that are usually seen in high-end true wireless earphones.
The Vivo TWS Neo earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.2, which enables it to connect with the other devices. The earbuds have three DeepX Stereo modes for a customized listening experience.
As far as the battery life is concerned, Vivo claims that each bud can last up to 5.5 hours while using the AAC codec and around 4.2 hours with the aptX codec. Coupled with the charging case, one can get around 27 hours of playback audio, as per Vivo. The charging case comes along with a USB-C port for charging. There is, however, no wireless charging support for the case.
The Vivo TWS Neo true wireless earphones come with 14.2mm drivers for enhanced audio output. The device also offers a new low-latency game mode (88ms) for video calls and gaming. The earbuds also feature a two-microphone system that helps with noise reduction during voice calls. Some of the other features of the earbuds include Jovi assistant, IP54 certification, one-touch pairing & connection, and Find My Earbuds feature. The Vivo TWS Neo true wireless earbuds support touch gestures too. For instance, one can slide to adjust the volume and tap once to play or pause the music.
The earphones are now available for sale in China for CNY 499 (approximately ₹5,274). They are available in two different colours – moon white and interstellar blue. Vivo might launch these earbuds in India in the upcoming months.
