After launching the Vivo V19 in Indonesia last month, Vivo has set the V19 launch date in India as March 26. The V19 is said to succeed V17, which was launched in India a few months ago. Vivo tweeted a teaser of the upcoming V19 from its official Twitter handle.

Vivo V19 specs

The teaser image shows the V19’s design and the inclusion of a dual hole-punch selfie camera and a quad-camera setup at the back. The quad-camera setup at the back is expected to comprise of a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. There will be a 32MP primary selfie sensor and a 8MP wide-angle-camera in the cutout at the front.

The Vivo V19 is expected to come with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Unlike the V19’s Indonesian model that comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, the V19 in India is expected to come with the Snapdragon 712 SoC paired up with 8GB of RAM.

The smartphone is said to come in Piano Black and Mystic Silver colour variants. The V19 could launch in 128GB and 256GB storage variants. The Vivo V19 will also sport an in-display fingerprint scanner similar to the one seen in the Vivo V17. The smartphone will run on FunTouchOS 10 on top of Android 10 and will be powered by the 4,500mAh with 33W Vivo Flash Charge 2.0 support.

Vivo V19 price

According to media reports, the V19 could cost somewhere around Rs 25,000 for the base variant (8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage). The higher storage variant price is not yet known.

The V17 is priced at Rs 22,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
