Vivo has introduced its X60 series in India today, comprising the vanilla X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+, of which the first two smartphones made their debut in China in December last year while the X60 Pro+ was subsequently introduced in the following month.
Starting off with the Vivo X60, it comes equipped with a 6.56-inch flat Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2376 × 1080-pixel resolution. The display also has a 32MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cut-out at the top.
At the rear of the vanilla X60 is a triple camera setup, housing a 48MP primary sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 13MP telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom. Moreover, the phone comes powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor, and it gets up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Besides that, the smartphone comes equipped with a 4,300mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging via USB-C. It runs on Origin OS skin based on top of Android 11 out-of-the-box.
The Vivo X60 price in India starts at ₹37,990 for the 8GB+128GB variant, and it goes up to ₹41,990 for the highest-end 12GB+256GB variant. Vivo has opened up pre-bookings for the X60 starting today, with deliveries set to begin from April 2, 2021. It will be available in two colours – shimmer blue and midnight black.
The key specifications of the Vivo X60 Pro remain the same as the vanilla X60. However, being the Pro model, it gets a few additional gizmos over its lesser sibling.
According to Vivo, the X60 Pro is the first smartphone with an in-built gimbal and pixel shift technology. At the rear of the X60 Pro is a 48MP (f/1.48) Sony IMX598 sensor with gimbal stabilization 2.0, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 13MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. However, it gets a smaller 4,200mAh battery but with the same charging speeds.
The Vivo X60 Pro price in India is set at ₹49,990 for the sole 12GB+256GB variant. The availability of the X60 Pro will be the same as the vanilla X60.
As the name implies, the X60 Pro+ is the highest-end smartphone in the line-up. It only, however, gets a few additional changes from the Pro variant in terms of the chipset, periscope camera, and fast-charging capabilities.
First off, the X60 Pro+ comes powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of in-built storage. As with the X6o Pro, the X6- Pro+, too, gets a 4,200mAh battery, but here it supports 55W charging speeds via USB-C.
Lastly, it gets a better camera setup at the back, including a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide gimbal camera, a 32MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom.
The Vivo X60 Pro+, too, shares its availability with the vanilla X60. It will be available in a single shade, namely emperor blue. The Vivo X60 Pro+ price in India, on the other hand, is set at ₹69,990 for the lone 12GB+256GB variant.
