Just after a few days of launching the 2021 version of the V20, Vivo has added yet another mid-ranger to its product portfolio, but this time in the Y-series, dubbed as the Y20A, which comes only a few months after the original Y20 was introduced.
The Vivo Y20A comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels. It also houses an 8MP selfie shooter neatly tucked in a teardrop notch in the middle of the display. Moreover, at the rear, the smartphone gets a triple-camera setup, which includes a 13MP primary shooter, along with a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro shooter.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 439 chipset, which is then coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. Moreover, it also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging speeds via micro-USB. The phone runs on Android 11 with the brand's FunTouch OS 11 skin on top.
The Vivo Y20A is priced at ₹11,490 for the sole 3GB+64GB variant. The smartphone will be available in two colours – nebula blue and dawn white – starting January 2, 2021, on Vivo's online store, major e-commerce platforms and retail stores.
