Vivo Z1x with 8GB RAM now available in India

Expanding its Z-series portfolio in India, China's Vivo today launched the Z1x in 8GB variant at Rs 21,990. The smartphone comes with 4,500mAh battery and supports 22.5W vivo FlashCharge.

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo today launched the Vivo Z1x in 8GB RAM in India. The new Z1x is available in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant in fusion blue colour across all retail outlets at Rs 21,990.

The 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB version of the Z1x are priced at Rs 16,990 and Rs 18,990, respectively. These variants are available in fusion blue and phantom purple colours.

As part of the festive offers, interested customers can purchase the new vivo Z1x 8GB at a cashback of 5 per cent with HDFC and ICICI bank. Additionally, customers can avail a 10 per cent HDB cashback on the phone. The offers are valid only till October 31.

The Z1x offers upgrade only in the RAM and rest all the other things are similar as in the previous generation Z1x (Review). The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712AIE chipset and offers a 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W vivo FlashCharge. There is also a smart button, which can be used to wake up Google assistant on a single press and a double press opens the image recogniser and a press and hold opens the Google Search.

The device sports an AI triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth camera. At the front, there is an 32MP camera. The Z1x features a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display and comes with quick in-display fingerprint scanner that unlocks the device in 0.48 seconds.

According to market research firm GFK, Vivo recently registered an overall market share of 21.2 per cent (by value) in its overall India sales in the second quarter of 2019.
