Xiaomi Mi A3 to soon launch in India

Successor to the Mi A1 and Mi A2, the Xiaomi Mi A3 will be another from the Chinese smartphone maker that will be a part of Android One family offering users stock Android over MIUI.

Xiaomi only Android One series consisting of Mi A1 and Mi A2, has been hugely popular among Indian consumers that love to use stock Android over Xiaomi’s custom MIUI. And according to the media reports, Xiaomi is planning to launch Mi A3 to further expand the series. The company could launch two smartphones – Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite.

While the Mi A3 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 730 chipset, the Mi A3 Lite will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor. The choice of processors suggest This suggests the Mi A3 series will be faster and more powerful than the previous generation.

The Mi A3 could sport a sleek 3D Glasstic rear panel in gradient colours along with a waterdrop notch on the front. While the Mi A3 will have a 6.39-inch full-HD+ display, the Mi A3 Lite will come with a 6.01-inch full-HD+ screen. Both these smartphones will be fuelled by a 4,030mAh battery.

The company is hosting an event on July 17 in India for the Redmi K20 series launch. Xiaomi has also announced ‘Alpha Sale’ that will allow Mi Fans to reserve a Redmi K20 series smartphone for themselves and get the device before it reaches the wider market.

While the Redmi K20 is expected to come in Rs 18,000 - Rs 20,000, the Redmi K20 Pro is expected to come in Rs 25,000- Rs 30,000 segment.

Both the devices are expected to come with a nano-holographic technology, a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED displays with 19.5:9 aspect ratios and a screen-to-body ratio of over 91 per cent.
