Earlier this year, Asus launched its premium ROG laptops – the Zephyrus G14 and G15. Now, Asus has expanded the affordable TUF gaming laptop line-up in India. The latest laptops, the TUF Gaming A15 and A17 feature AMD Ryzen 4000 Series mobile processors.
The new TUF gaming laptops feature an entirely modern design with updated durability ratings. The laptops have quite sleek panels with hexagonal air vents at the bottom. As the names indicate, the TUF Gaming A15 features a 15-inch Full HD IPS LCD display, and the A17 features a 17-inch display. Both the displays come with a 60Hz standard refresh rate, which can later be upgraded to higher refresh rate screens. The A15 can be upgraded to 144Hz, while A17 can be specced up to a 120Hz refresh rate panel. Both the laptops are powered by Nvidia graphics. The TUF Gaming A15 and A17 come with preinstalled Windows 10. Both devices support up to 32GB of DDR4 SDRAM in dual-channel.
In terms of connectivity, both notebooks support Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 5, a headphone, and microphone combo jack, one USB Type-A 2.0 port, two USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. The laptops offer storage up to 1TB 5400rpm SATA HDD and 1TB PCIe Gen3 SSD in solid-state storage.
The TUF Gaming A15 is available in two colours – bonfire black and fortress grey. The bonfire black variant starts from ₹60,990, while the fortress grey retails for ₹62,990. The Asus TUF A17 is only available in fortress grey, which is priced from ₹60,990. The A15 is now available on Amazon and Reliance stores all across India, whereas the A17 will go on sale in mid-June on Flipkart.
