ASUS launches ROG gaming smartphone at Rs 69,999

For gamers, Asus launched the ROG Phone, which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with octa-core CPU, Adreno 630 GPU, 128GB internal storage along with 8GB RAM.

Asus launched the much-awaited gaming smartphone ROG Phone Rs 69,999 and is exclusively on Flipkart. This new flagship phone offers no-cost EMI, with tenure options of 6, 9 and 12 months available on all credit and debit cards. To ensure that the user gets a complete gaming experience, the Taiwanese manufacturer is offering game-centric accessories like Professional Dock for Rs 5,499; GameVice (Joystick) at Rs 5,999; TwinView Dock at Rs 21,999, Desktop Dock at Rs 12,999 and ROG Phone Case at Rs 2,499.

The ROG Phone is powered by the 2.96GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with gaming-optimized Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU. The two stand out features of this phone are its unique GameCool vapor-chamber cooling system, which keeps the device's temperature low and the 6-inch AMOLED display has a 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time for HDR visuals. It has a full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and has 402ppi pixel density.

The ROG is one tough smartphone as it uses in front 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass 6 and rear 3D-curved Corning Gorilla glass 5. As it is IPX4 complaint, the ROG Phone is completely splash-proof and water resistant.

Coming to the camera, the flagship phone comes with a dual camera setup — the primary is 12-megapixel camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture and while the secondary is an 8-megapixel wide angle camera. It also comes with an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. It can record 4K video up to 60fps along with a slow-motion video mode to 1080p resolution and 240fps. The ROG phone comes with electronic stabilization during video recording. 

The device comes with Wi-Fi, Dual-Nano SIM slot, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, FM radio, 3.5mm audio socket and USB 3.1 Type-C port. It also gets a fingerprint scanner on the back below the dual cameras.  The ROG Phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a massive 4,000mAh battery.
