ASUS ROG launches high-end gaming laptop in India

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced its latest dedicated e-sports gaming notebook “ROG Strix SCAR Edition,” which is tailor-made for first-person shooters (FPS).

The company also unveiled the ROG Strix GL503 that features a 15.6-inch display, a lightweight 2.5kg chassis and ASUS Gaming FX503 – an affordable gaming notebook.

The ROG Strix SCAR Edition offers FPS fighters power of Intel Core i7 processors accompanied by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Series graphics and a superfast 7ms, 144Hz display. Additionally, the notebook has a desktop-style keyboard layout, N-key rollover and fast-actuating keys.

The ROG Strix Hero Edition is armed with Intel Core i7 processors, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 Series graphics and Windows 10. Strix Hero Edition also packs a rich-colour, 120Hz wide-view IPS display and a desktop-style keyboard with N-key rollover for fast, precise response to every input and a 20-million-key-press lifetime for ultimate reliability.

The high refresh rate reduces lag and motion blur rendering everything clear and smooth. Further, the IPS display on Strix Hero Edition delivers a wide 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut, providing consistent light intensity, improved contrast, high colour accuracy and fidelity. ROG Strix Hero Edition’s display also enables viewing at extreme angles of up to 178-degrees vertically and horizontally.

With a brand-new keyboard layout inspired by desktop designs, featuring four hotkeys and four customisable RGB-backlit zones, the ROG Strix GL503 puts decisive control at the fingertips by specially highlighting WASD keys.

The mainstream Asus Gaming FX503 is a compact and powerful Windows 10 laptop that packs up to Intel i7-7700HQ CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050graphics.

The intelligent dual fan cooling design enables graphically-intense gaming sessions without throttling. The laptop features a red-backlit, desktop style layout anti-ghosting keyboard for accurate gaming experience.

The ROG Strix HERO Edition, SCAR Edition and Strix GL503 will be available at a starting price of Rs 92990. The Asus Gaming series FX503 will be available at a starting price of Rs 69990.

All the products will be available from December 20 in India across online and offline retail partners and distributors.
