ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled the latest range of gaming laptops consisting of ROG Zephyrus S GX531, ROG Zephyrus S GX701 and ROG Strix SCAR II. The laptops are encased in slim bezels and pack powerful features such as advanced cooling to elevate the portable PC gaming experience.
The Zephyrus S GX531 is an ultra-slim laptop that packs a 15.6-inch display, featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q. The GX531 is powered by the latest Intel Core i7-8750H CPU, a 144Hz refresh rate display and a 3ms response time plus all the ROG essentials. The gaming laptop has a 12V anti-dust cooling fans, five heat pipes and four heat sinks for an enhanced gaming performance.
The ROG Zephyrus S GX701GX features a 17-inch display and a 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU. There is also a 144Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time and comes with Pantone validated colours with factory calibration and ProArt TruColor Technology. All this is packed in thin bezel design offering an 81 per cent screen to body ratio. The S GX701GX also offers an exclusive GPU Switch that easily transitions between better gaming and longer battery life and the patented AAS cooling system sustains high performance via efficient cooling.
Built for the FPS side of the e-sports arena, the 15.6-inch ROG Strix SCAR II is available with the same 144Hz high refresh rate and 3ms response time. Up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics with 8GB of VRAM give SCAR II enough horsepower to drive triple-digit frame rates in popular shooting games.
The Strix SCAR II is powered by the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H six-core CPU, providing 23 per cent more performance over the previous generation. With HyperCool Pro, the gaming laptop remains cool, even in the most heated battles.
