Samsung has announced the pre-booking of its category defining – Galaxy Z Flip foldable smartphone. The Galaxy Z Flip comes with a first-of-its-kind foldable glass featuring a 6.7-inch display that folds into a stylish and compact form factor – fitting nicely in the palm of your hand.
Interested consumers can pre-book the Galaxy Z Flip on the Samsung e-shop and select retail stores starting February 21. Samsung is offering premium white glove delivery in 10 cities if you had purchased the device from Samsung e-shop. The Galaxy Z Flip is priced at Rs 1,09,999. The devices will be shipped starting February 26.
The company also announced an accidental damage coverage, which includes one-time screen protection and a 24X7 Dedicated Call Center Support (1800-20-7267864), 1-year Samsung Care+ Protection, 1-time screen damage protection service for inner screen and external screen at discounted fee (at the time of repair), 4 month of free YouTube premium Subscription and up to 12-month interest free EMI.
The Z Flip sports an Infinity Flex Display with Samsung’s proprietary Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG), which makes the overall footprint of the device a lot slimmer – never been seen on a foldable device before. The Hideaway Hinge ensure sthat every flip and fold is smooth and stable. It’s a dual-SIM smartphone, with one eSIM and one nano-SIM card slot. In India, e-sim services are currently available on Airtel and Jio networks.
When you are unfolding the Galaxy Z Flip, you can use it at multiple angles. In the flex mode, when the Galaxy Z Flip is free-standing, the display automatically splits into two screens so you can easily view images, contents or videos on the top half of the display and control them from the bottom half.
The smartphone comes with a dual camera setup comprising of a 12MP ultra wide camera and a 12MP wide-angle camera. The Z Flip is armed with the 7nm 64-bit octa-core processor paired up with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
