Samsung Galaxy M21 to go on sale today

The Galaxy M21 offers an significant upgrade on Galaxy M20 with 6,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The smartphone comes with a sAMOLED display and offers a triple rear camera setup.

Samsung’s latest entrant to the Galaxy M series – the M21 will go on sale today at e-tailer Amazon. The Galaxy M21 sports a 6.4-inch sAMOLED full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display and come with a triple rear camera at the back.

Apart from Amazon, the phone will also be available on Samsung store  and on select retail stores. Amazon is also offering a Rs 500 introductory discount on the smartphones, applicable till March 31.

The sale for the M21 will begin at 12 p.m. on Amazon India. Available in two colours – Midnight Blue and Raven Black, the Samsung Galaxy M21 costs Rs 13,499 for the 4GB/64GB option and Rs 15,499 for the 6GB + 128GB option.

The smartphone is armed with the Exynos 9611 chipset, which is also present in the Galaxy M30s and the Galaxy M31. The M21 runs in One UI 2.0 on top of Android 10. The camera setup at ht back comprises of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree Field of View, and a 5MP depth sensor. There is a 20MP camera for selfies and video calling. The camera mode includes Nightmode, Pro, Live Focus and 4K video recording.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro which directly competes with the Galaxy M21, has a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM2 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree Field of View, a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro camera. The rear camera modes include ultra-nightscape mode, Pro mode, Portrait mode, 4K video recording. At the front, there is a 16MP camera.

The M21 is fuelled by a huge 6,000mAh battery and also supports 15W fast charging technology.
