Samsung has allegedly held secret meetings at the ongoing CES 2020 with partners has showcased the yet-to-be-launched products and reportedly revealed their names. These products include the upcoming Galaxy S Series of smartphones, the next foldable offering and a smartphone with rollable display. The news does not come as a surprise because the company has been practising this for quite some time now.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Series

There were conflicting reports regarding the moniker that Samsung would use with its next Galaxy S Series of phones. According to the latest development, DJ Koh, CEO of Samsung Electronics, has revealed that the company will be launching the Galaxy S20 family of handsets at the Unpacked event that is scheduled to take place on February 11 in San Francisco. The Series will have three phones: the Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

While the details about the phones are scarce, its is being said that the Galaxy S20 Ultra will sport a 108 MP main rear camera, and 100x zoom support. All three are expected to have 8K recording capabilities. Reportedly, these devices are being planned to target women in their 20s (which apparently explains the name). It could also be possible that Samsung wants to mark the start of this decade by adding ‘20’ to its flagship devices.

Galaxy Bloom

Another interesting detail that came out of that meeting is the name of the second foldable device that Samsung is said to be developing. Called the Galaxy Fold 2 till now, the next foldable handset will reportedly launch as the Galaxy Bloom. As per a report, this devices device won't have a plastic film on top of its screen like the original Galaxy Fold, and instead use an ultra-thin glass. The handset is also said to support 8K video capturing, and will be the first smartphone to support this function. It may launch in both 4G and 5G versions.

After making strides in the foldable smartphone space, Samsung is apparently working on a rollable smartphone. Its South Korean competitor has already launched a television with rollable display, but Samsung apparently wants to downsize the display and put it in people’s palms. For this, Samsung is apparently using the same display film that it used with the Galaxy Fold. There is no further information about the smartphone, however, LetsGoDigital has already made renders of the rumoured smartphone.
