Vivo Y11 with 5,000mAh battery launched in India

Like all previous Vivo devices, the Y11 follows vivo’s commitment to ‘Make in India’ and is being manufactured at Vivo’s Greater Noida facility. The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,990.

Expanding its Y-series portfolio, China’s Vivo has launched the Y11 smartphone that comes with a 5,000mAh battery and AI powered dual rear camera setup. Priced at Rs 8,990, the Vivo Y11 is available in Mineral Blue and Agate Red colour variants across all offline channels and Vivo India e-store starting today.

The device will be available across Amazon.in, Paytm Mall, Tata Cliq and Bajaj EMI e-store starting December 25. For Flipkart users, the device will be available starting December 28.

Vivo Y11 specifications

The Y11 sports a 6.35-inch Halo FullView display with a 19.3:9 aspect ratio. The device comes with super narrow bezels on all sides offering a screen-to-body ratio of 89 per cent. The Y11 comes with dual rear camera consisting of a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. At the front, there is an 8MP front-camera with AI Face Beauty mode.

The Y11 runs on a 12nm Snapdragon 439 mobile octa-core processor with clock speeds of up to 1.95GHz and comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The smartphone runs on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 9, a customised operating system based on Android 9. There is also fingerprint sensor.

According to Germany-based market research institute GFK, Vivo recorded its highest ever market share of 22.5 per cent in terms of value and 21.4 per cent in terms of volume in September 2019. The company emerged as the top brand in 10k-15k price point in the third quarter of 2019.

Earlier this month, Vivo announced that upcoming Vivo phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 5G chipsets.
